2 Qingdao companies shine in overseas market
Two companies headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong province, namely Haier Smart Home and Hisense, made the list of top 50 Chinese listed companies by brand value overseas, which was released on May 10.

The 2022 Brand Value List of Chinese Listed Companies was jointly launched by National Business Daily (NBD) and the China Business Research Center under the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SEM), and supported by NBD Think Tank.
The Top 50 Chinese Listed Companies by Brand Value Overseas List selected the top 50 overseas brand values of all Chinese mainland companies listed on the global market before Jan 1.
Amid the pressure of rising sea freight costs, increasing raw material prices and global COVID-19 outbreaks, Haier and Hisense maintained an overseas income growth in 2021.

Last year, Haier's overseas business revenue reached 113.73 billion yuan ($16.72 billion), with a year-on-year growth of 13 percent. Hisense's overseas main business income reached 23.43 billion yuan, up 20.74 percent year-on-year.
The lists of top 100 Chinese listed companies by brand value and top 50 Chinese upstart companies by brand value were also unveiled.
