The 24-hour self-service library in Shinan district, Qingdao, reopened on April 15, according to a notice on the official WeChat account of the district's culture and tourism bureau.

The notice said that the library operators have taken strict epidemic prevention and control measures in accordance with relevant requirements and rules to ensure the health and safety of readers.

Readers must register their information, scan the library's QR code on-site and have their body temperatures taken before entering the venue.

They are also required to wear masks, wash hands frequently and keep a distance of at least one meter apart from others.
