Qingdao company serves organic vegetables for Beijing 2022
Qingdao Herunda Food Co, a specialized agricultural product processing enterprise based in Pingdu, a county-level city in Qingdao, was one of the organic vegetable suppliers for the just concluded Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

"To provide quality products for athletes from around the world, we've paid special attention to the selection of excellent varieties of foods, standardized production, quality and safety traceability, as well as efficient logistics and distribution," said Wang Mingxi, a senior manager at the company.
"Herunda was selected by the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee last year as an organic vegetable supplier for the Games after several rounds of investigation, on-site inspection, and expert reviews," Wang added.
Related departments in Qingdao have also carried out regular supervision, guidance and inspection at the company's planting and processing base to ensure that they meet the safety and nutritional requirements of the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee, Wang said.
Founded in 2005, Herunda mainly engages in agricultural and sideline products planting, processing, storage and sales. The company boasts a 10,000-metric-ton storage warehouse with continuous temperature and humidity control, as well as a 6,000-square-meter processing workshop.
