According to a notice posted on the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China's official website, Qingdao West Coast New Area (WCNA) was recently added to a list of 17 demonstration areas for intelligent and healthy elderly care in China.

Official statistics showed that Qingdao WCNA has set up 95 service centers and 180 service stations for home and community-based elderly care and has provided services to many local seniors with the help of its elderly care information management platform.

In recent years, Qingdao WCNA has focused on chained, specialized, and branded elderly care market operations, with plans to establish additional elderly care institutions that integrate medical and health care.
