Yangko dance sparks vitality in Qingdao
A group of local residents practiced the Baoshan land yangko dance in Baoshan town of Qingdao West Coast New Area on Jan 6, creating a festive and auspicious atmosphere before Spring Festival.
Yangko is a rural Chinese folk dance with a history dating back thousands of years. The Baoshan land yangko is a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage item in Shandong province and a popular folk art, full of local charm.
