The national photography season – 100 photographic works exhibition was launched in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province on April 14, according to reports in the local media.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the exhibition received more than 200 works and through careful selection, a total of 100 works were selected for display.

The event reportedly attracted a large number of Shinan's residents, academics and photographers, who came to witness the important historical moments captured in the photos.
