West Coast New Area launches mass vaccination against COVID-19
The Qingdao West Coast New Area recently started offering free COVID-19 vaccine shots to local residents as part of the country's vaccination campaign against the virus, local media outlets reported.
Those aged between 18 and 59 can make an appointment for the vaccination using their ID cards at community centers or workplaces. Each person will receive two doses of the vaccine 21 to 28 days apart.
To speed up the vaccination process, the local government has dispatched medical staff to enterprises, colleges and communities to provide vaccinations.
