The much-anticipated azalea festival will kick off on March 20 on Dazhu Mountain in Qingdao West Coast New Area, with a vast array of blooming azaleas decorating the hills.

A dazzling array of cultural, tourism and sports activities will be staged during the festival to entertain tourists, according to the scenic area.
