Qingdao enterprise promotes development of medicinal plant stem cells
The Qingdao Yanding Bio-medical Technology Co and the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, which is directly subordinate to the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, recently signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing to jointly promote the development of medicinal plant stem cells.
At the signing ceremony, Chen Shilin, director of the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, briefly introduced the basic situation and research direction of the institute, as well as its achievements involving Chinese medicinal materials.

Liu Yuanzhu, chairman of Shandong Yanding Group, introduced the company and its research achievements involving plant stem cells and plant cloning technology, as well as its industrial layout plan for the further development and application of plant stem cells.
Both sides agreed that medicinal plant stem cells are an important scientific focus and that there is much potential for cooperation in this area.
The two sides will work together to accelerate the establishment of the Qingdao Yanding Medical Plant Stem Cell Laboratory and integrate the resource and research strengths of both sides to facilitate the development of the health industry.
