The 2020 Qingdao Phoenix Music Festival will be held from Oct 2 to 3 at the Phoenix Sound Theater and the North Music Square in Qingdao West Coast New Area.

The event will be organized by the Qingdao West Coast New Area Management Committee.

According to the organizers, earnings from last year's event topped the list of domestic music festivals in 2019, making it a dark horse in the Chinese music festival scene.

This year, the event will bring together popular stars, brands and singers such as actress-singer Li Yuchun, singer-songwriter Li Ronghao, pop idol Kris Wu, singer-songwriter Wang Sulong, rapper Gai, and pop-rock band Black Panther.

The music festival will be a powerful spectacle in terms of both sight and sound, with the all-star line-up, exquisite stage design, and pleasant seaside scenery making for an unforgettable experience, said the organizers.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers will launch a series of measures to ensure public health.

Before the opening of the music festival, many live-action drills and emergency response drills will be conducted.

To ensure the health and safety of music fans, staff will disinfect facilities, take temperatures, and check the health QR codes of every person entering the venue.
