Qingdao Chengyang Industrial Park (青岛城阳工业园区) is a provincial industrial park approved by the People’s Government of Shandong in 2006. The provincial government approved its relocation to the Qingdao Rail Transit Equipment Functional Zone in August 2013. It has a planning area of 83 square kilometers. 

The industrial park adheres to the theme of “big investment for great development”, taking sustainable development as its goal. Through the integrated development of planning and layout, mechanism innovation, project promotion, and industrial upgrading, as well as continuous investment in infrastructure investment and industrial chain construction the rail transit equipment industry is rapidly gathering and developing in this area. The industrial park is one of the ten most advanced manufacturing functional areas in Qingdao. It is the base of high-quality products in Shandong, an important export base of national rail transit equipment products, a national "high-speed train industrial base" and a "new industrial demonstration base".
