Standardized techniques
Sanli has always applied standardization in its research and development. It participates in formulating national and industry standards and then actively puts those standards into practice. For those products that do not have national or industry standards, Sanli formulates manufacturer's standards that can be effectively applied to its products. The coverage rate of these standards is maintained at 100 percent of its products. Sanli's water supply equipment has evolved into its 13th generation. The effective implementation of standardized work lays a solid foundation for the company's success.
Sanli has always been devoted to the promotion and application of new technology. New materials, new techniques and new technologies are formulated as standards to be carried out by the group. Sanli has issued eight national and industry standards, compiled five standards and co-compiled three standards.
a. It compiled the industry standard for non-negative pressure water supply equipment in 2007;
b. It compiled the industry standard for microcomputer controlled frequency control water supply equipment in 2009;
c. It formulated the local standard for Shandong’s water supply equipment for fire fighting; it compiled the national standards for automatic constant pressure water supply equipment for firefighting and terminology of water supply and drainage equipment for buildings; it compiled the industry standard for water supply equipment for firefighting for the Ministry of Public Security;
d. In 2010, it compiled the national standard for water supply equipment of non-negative pressure pipe pressurization and steady flow. It was selected as a Qingdao high-tech zone standardization demonstration unit;
e. In 2011, it compiled two industry standards for non negative pressure integrated intelligent water supply equipment and stainless steel butterfly valve;
f. It compiled fixed firefighting water supply equipment part three: pressurized water supply equipment for firefighting in 2012;
g. It revised the industry standard for non-negative pressure water supply equipment in 2016.
In 2011, Sanli applied for and was granted AAA level of good standardization enterprise. Additionally, it won the title of standardized innovative enterprise in Shandong province. The company won approval for the AAAA level of good standardization enterprise on July 23, 2012. So far, Sanli has formulated clear, reasonable and scientific standardized systems in technology, management and work methods. It has set up various kinds of standardized detail lists, dynamically managed standards to ensure the effectiveness of its working methods.
It has formulated 4,715 documents, including 889 documents of technical standards, 627 documents of management standards and 3,199 documents of work standards. It has basically achieved a system where every single post and item of work has a standard to be followed.
After years of development, Sanli's standardized work has gained support from the leading officials of Qingdao.
The inaugural meeting and the first working conference of the technical subcommittee of non-negative pressure water supply equipment was held by Sanli in view of its invention of non-negative pressure technology. Over many years of development, the technical committee for non-negative pressure standardization has achieved many advances.
It has declared six national standards and five industry standards. It has held nine investigation meetings for various kinds of standards. By training its staff members and publicizing its methods, it further standardizes the market for non-negative pressure water supply equipment, helping the industry to develop in a healthy and stable manner.
4.Working plan for standardization
a. To further improve the company's organization division and to detail responsibilities;
b. To improve the staff's skills in implementing standardization;
c. To strengthen standardization training to continue to improve staff levels;
d. To further carry out the work of the technical subcommittee for non-negative pressure water supply equipment, playing its role in the standardization of the industry;
e. To strengthen the management of standardized information based on current standardization;
f. To participate in formulating and revising national and international standards for water pumps and electric motors.
