Following a successful visit in July from tour operators in the country, a second delegation of travel representatives from Incheon, South Korea, embarked on an in-depth cultural and tourism inspection tour in Linyi, Shandong province, from Aug 4 to 8.
The visit focused on integrating commerce, culture, and tourism, expanding on previous itineraries with new highlights such as the Museum of Bamboo Slips from the Yinqueshan Han Dynasty Tomb, Lanling Yayougou Scenic Area, and Lanling Winery.
During the five-day tour, the delegation explored Linyi’s diverse offerings, ranging from historic and ecological landmarks like the Yimeng Mountain Yunmeng and Guimeng scenic areas to innovative leisure hubs like the Mengtong Resort. They also experienced Linyi's comprehensive industrial, agricultural, and commercial tourism chains, including the Lanhua Group and the pristine Zhuquan village.
The Incheon representatives praised Linyi's mature tourism infrastructure and immense cross-border collaboration potential. Building upon the foundational bridge established by the first group, this second visit pinpointed new cooperation avenues.
Both sides expressed a strong commitment to promoting tourism exchanges, sharing resources, and driving bilateral commercial cooperation to foster mutual growth between Incheon and Linyi.
