The equestrian finals of the 26th Shandong Province Sports Games concluded on July 16 in Tancheng county, Linyi, marking the first time equestrian events have been included as an official competition in the provincial games.
The five-day event brought together 90 young riders from seven teams across Shandong, who competed in dressage, show jumping, and eventing. The competition tested not only jockeys' riding skills, but also the coordination between them and their horses.
As the host venue, Tancheng highlighted its developing equestrian sector and provided a platform for young riders to compete and share experiences. The event also helped raise public awareness of equestrian sports and support the cultivation of young talent.
