Xian Youtao, general manager of Shandong Linmanou International Logistics Co Ltd, has transformed his career from a local warehouse loader into a pioneer of cross-border logistics. Driven by the resilient Yimeng spirit, Xian founded his company in 2016 and achieved a major breakthrough in 2023 by securing Linyi's first TIR international road transport license.
Recognizing that goods from Linyi often suffered delays and damage during transshipment at borders, Xian sought to enable direct cross-border trucking. After persistent efforts to secure the necessary qualifications, he launched the first direct route from Linyi to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in September 2023. The journey, which previously took over 20 days with frequent losses, was completed in just six days with all of the cargo intact, proving the reliability of his truck fleet with Lu Q license plates.
Building on this success, Linmanou has rapidly expanded its footprint, opening stable routes to Moscow, Tashkent in Uzbekistan, the Belarusian capital of Minsk, and Almaty in Kazakhstan. These achievements reflect a strategic evolution from domestic intermodal transport to an extensive international network.
Today, with a fleet of over 100 heavy-duty trucks, Xian's logistics operations are effectively bridging the gap between Linyi's manufacturing hubs and global markets.
Looking ahead, the company plans to launch two additional overseas routes this year, further strengthening Linyi's position as a vital international logistics hub and ensuring that made-in-China goods reach international destinations faster and more efficiently than ever.
