Guo Tianqi, a young entrepreneur in Linyi, Shandong province, has revitalized her family's struggling electrical equipment factory, transforming it into a high-tech smart manufacturing center. When Guo took over the business in 2014, she was left with outdated equipment, low efficiency, and a stagnant domestic market.

Over the past decade, she has modernized the facility, expanded its product line to include high-quality electrical cabinets and precision sheet metal, and built an industrial cluster that supports the entire local village.

Recognizing the decline in domestic real estate demand, Guo leveraged the platform to reach customers in over 40 countries, with annual exports now valued at over 30 million yuan ($4.43 million).

To maintain competitiveness, Guo integrated advanced artificial intelligence tools into her operations. By utilizing AI for market analysis, automated customer service, and production management, her team significantly improved efficiency and professional responsiveness, with 40 percent of orders now secured through these intelligent systems. Furthermore, AI-driven insights have guided the company's product development, allowing it to move from a price-driven strategy to offering high-value customized solutions.

Today, Linyi Yangao Electric stands as a model of traditional manufacturing transformation, demonstrating how digital and intelligent manufacturing can turn a "cold metal box" factory into a global industry leader.
