Linyi has launched more than 200 summer cultural and tourism activities, combining stage performances, cool retreats, sports events and discounts at various attractions to attract travelers from across China to the Yimeng region.
He Tairan, deputy director of the Linyi bureau of culture and tourism, said the city has integrated high-quality cultural and tourism resources to create a summer feast featuring cool escapes, cultural experiences, family study tours and night-time consumption.
Performing arts anchor the campaign. The Denghuo Lanshan · New Langya block features cosplay flash mobs, interactive programs and drone light show, while water-based light shows on the Yihe River add immersive night-time experiences.
The Former Residence of Wang Xizhi, Langya Ancient City, Yayaogou scenic area, Tan State Ancient City and Yimeng Mountain scenic area also present night tours, folk performances and interactive programs.
Cool summer options focus on mountains, water-based attractions, and museums, including Yimeng Mountain's Guimeng and Yunmeng scenic areas, Zhuquan village, Hongshizhai, hot springs, underground caves and study programs at museums and cultural venues.
Sports events add another draw. Linyi is hosting several finals of the 26th Shandong Province Sports Games from July to August, with tourism promotions linking sports events and city tours. Beer festivals, night markets and shopping events further energize evening consumption.
The city is also offering coupons, ticket discounts and special packages for students, families and tourists. He invited visitors to come to Linyi "to enjoy a cool summer among the mountains and waters of Yimeng".
