SF Express expands international services at Linyi Port

SF Express has opened its Western Shandong International Business Department at Linyi Port, adding full-chain international logistics services to Linyi's inland trade and logistics hub.

The new operation responds to rising demand from cross-border e-commerce, small-batch foreign trade orders and customized freight forwarding. Backed by SF's global network, it will provide international express delivery, cross-border e-commerce logistics, international freight forwarding and overseas warehouse connection services, covering door-to-door pickup, customized packaging, customs declaration and clearance, cross-border trunk transport and last-mile delivery.

The service also connects Linyi Port with coastal gateways including Shanghai, Shenzhen and Qingdao through dedicated routes. A "same-day pickup, same-day dispatch" model is expected to shorten transport time, reduce logistics costs and give local exporters more predictable access to overseas markets.

The launch builds on Linyi's existing logistics base. The city has more than 3,000 domestic freight routes, a multimodal system linking rail, sea, road and air, stable China-Europe freight train services and a leading TIR international road transport network. Linyi Port has also gathered customs, bonded, freight forwarding and yard services, bringing port functions closer to local businesses.

With SF Express joining the port ecosystem, Linyi's cross-border e-commerce, wood products, hardware, small commodities, specialty manufactured goods and construction machinery sectors are expected to reach RCEP economies, covering 15 countries across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as other destinations in Central Asia, Europe and Southeast Asia more efficiently. The project will further strengthen Linyi Port's role as a regional international logistics hub and support the city's shift from domestic circulation to global trade.
