Linyi is accelerating the global expansion of its agricultural products by strengthening specialty industries, deep processing capacity, and regional brand building.
Located between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta and supported by its position as a major logistics hub, Linyi is building a modern agricultural trade system under the theme of "ecological Yimeng Mountain, quality agricultural products".
The city has developed 24 specialty industries, including Mengyin peaches, Pingyi honeysuckle, Lanling garlic, and Yinan meat ducks, with a total output value reaching 200 billion yuan ($27.78 billion). It has also established three national competitive specialty industrial clusters focused on peanuts, broiler hens, and peaches.
Lanling has more than 1.2 million mu (80,000 hectares) of vegetable planting area and an annual output of over 5 million metric tons, making it a key vegetable supply base for Shanghai. Mengyin has 800,000 mu of peach orchards and an annual output of more than 1.1 billion kilograms, ranking as China's top peach-producing county.
Deep processing is further supporting Linyi's agricultural exports. In 2025, the city had 2,573 above-scale agricultural product processing enterprises, with revenue reaching 385.12 billion yuan, both ranking first in Shandong. It refines one-fifth of China's peanut oil, with products exported to more than 60 countries and regions.
From peaches and peanuts to vegetables and meat products, Linyi is transforming agricultural resources into branded products with a stronger market presence in China and abroad.
