Linyi contains a comprehensive ecosystem covering major sub-sectors: cement, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, stone, and new building materials.
There are 84 types of minerals discovered, with 35 specifically for building materials and other non-metallic minerals.
The industry had an output value of 61.67 billion yuan ($8.96 billion) in 2024 from 574 enterprises above designated size.
As of the end of 2024, 38 local firms had earned 63 green product certifications.
