Geography and transportation

Jining National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the northeast of Jining city.

The Rihe (Rizhao-Lankao) Railway, National Highway 327, and Jiwei Road pass through the high-tech industrial development zone, and the Ridong (Rizhao-Dongming) Expressway runs through the northern part of the zone.

As Chongwen Avenue, the Jinghu (Beijing-Shanghai) High-speed Railway and Yanshi (Yanzhou-Shijiusuo) Railway in Jining national high-tech industrial development zone were completed and opened to traffic, the advantages of transport in the development zone has been more obvious.

Administrative divisions

Jining National High-tech Industrial Development Zone consists of five subdistricts - Guanghe, Liuhang, Huangtun, Wangyin, and Jiezhuang.

Introduction

The Jining high-tech industrial development zone was set up in May 1992 and was upgraded to a national zone in 2010 with the approval of the State Council.

It has a national entrepreneurship center, a national entrepreneurship park for international students, a national postdoctoral station, a national photoelectricity information industry base, a biotechnology industry base, an engineering machinery industry base and a new textile materials industry base.

It is a certified park of the ISO14001 environmental management system, which has formed leading industries such as photoelectric information, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, software and service outsourcing, textiles and garments.
