The varieties achieved yields of more than 9 metric tons per hectare, with the highest reaching 10.3 tons per hectare, at a demonstration field in Dongying.
The achievement highlights the potential of combining climate-resilient crop varieties with advanced cultivation techniques to improve agricultural productivity in challenging environments. Despite saline-heavy soils and drought during key growth stages, the peanuts showed strong adaptability, producing well-developed pods and stable yields.
