Chee Kin Chew, president of Sunway Group, said that his company will continue to pursue projects in Shandong and seek stronger ties with the province in a number of areas.

Chew made the remarks during his online speech at the "Connecting Shandong with the Fortune Global 500" ASEAN special event, which was held on Sept 22 in Jinan, capital of Shandong.

Sunway Group is one of Malaysia's largest conglomerates and it is primarily involved in property, construction, education, and healthcare.

According to Chew, Sunway Group has reached intent to cooperate with two Shandong-based companies. He also said that Sunway will pursue more cooperation projects with Shandong in the medical and health sectors.
