A foot race was held at night to mark the eighth Jinan International Spring Water Festival on Sept 7, attracting nearly 100 participants.

The 4-kilometer route around Daming Lake gave runners a chance to experience the natural scenery and culture of Daming Lake and Jinan.

During the competition, organizers also held a series of cultural activities, including displays of cultural products, culture shows, and intangible cultural heritage performances, to showcase Jinan's cultural traditions.

The race is meant to take advantage of the citys culture and promote all-for-one tourism in Jinan.
